Hello, friends—
I’m thrilled (and a little amazed) to share that my NEW Sound of Music tour this October 2025 is almost sold out! What makes this one truly special is that the rest of the movie cast—the “kids” from the film—will be joining me in Salzburg. Yes, we’ll all be there together!
This kind of reunion is rare. We’re scattered across the globe, and like any family, it’s not easy to gather in one place. We'll be appearing in Salzburg at the Gala celebrating the film and that’s why this 60th Anniversary Tour feels like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I honestly don’t know if it will ever happen again. I hope you can join me on this unforgettable journey—I can’t wait to return to the magical city of Salzburg.
But first... I’m heading to Florence, Italy next week! The five of us have been invited to a very special screening of The Sound of Music, followed by a Q&A with the audience. If you happen to be in Florence on July 5th, come join us at the Teatro Niccolini — one of the oldest theatres in the world—for an evening filled with memories, music, and magic. I haven’t been to Florence in years, and I’m so looking forward to soaking in its beauty, art, and inspiration once again.
Let me introduce you to TheSOM7.com—our official Sound of Music cast website! It’s a fun place to explore, filled with memories, milestones, and moments from our journey through the years.
I’ll be adding new photos soon from our Italy experience and our upcoming reunion in Salzburg, Austria, so be sure to check back for a heartfelt trip down memory lane. Join us as we celebrate the magic, the music, and the friendships that have lasted 60 years.
Speaking of special things… I’m also nearly sold out of my Brown Paper Package offer! I created this special bundle for the 60th Anniversary of the film and it includes my signed personal little book of behind-the-scenes images from filming The Sound of Music, paired with the exquisite Edelweiss lapel pin I created in collaboration with the amazing Michael Michaud. While I’ll continue to offer the jewelry, once these limited-edition 60th Anniversary concertina books are gone—they’re gone.
I truly adore this Edelweiss collection—Michael is a master craftsman, and his interpretation of this noble flower is simply divine. To me, Edelweiss represents quiet strength, perseverance, and the beauty that lasts. I believe we should all wear one—as a reminder that we are, indeed, resilient. If you order on my website I will fulfill the order as soon as I return from my trip as I pack each order personally.
And so... the journey continues—and I’m ready.
So long, farewell,
Angela
