Welcome to Pasticcio - Said & Done
— my podcast, where curiosity meets conversation.
Pasticcio means “a glorious mess”—sometimes a medley, sometimes a fiasco.
Hosted by Angela Cartwright, this podcast is just that: a mix of conversations with artists, actors, musicians, and creatives who see the world differently.

Funny, heartfelt, and layered like a conversational collage, Pasticcio peels back the beautifully messy stories of life outside the ordinary with Angela's friends — with humor, heart, and surprise.

My guest is Jim West, founder of Craftours, a company that has taken travelers across the globe in search of inspiration, artistry, and unforgettable experiences.| From creative retreats to immersive cultural journeys, Jim has built something far beyond a travel company—it’s a gateway into the stories, people, and places that shape how we see the world. He’s also the man behind my Sound of Music tours… which means, of course, there are a few stories you won’t want to miss.

In this episode, we talk about how it all began—and the moments that stay with you long after the trip ends. Jim shares the heart behind his tours, memorable moments from the road, and his best travel wisdom for making the most of any journey, anywhere in the world.

EPISODE 108 - SAID & DONE WITH DEBBIE TURNER

There’s something special about sitting down with someone who shared one of the   most beloved cinematic experiences of all time.  In this heartfelt catch-up, I reconnect with my friend Debbie Turner, forever cherished as Marta in 'The Sound of Music.' I’ve  known Debbie almost my whole life —
first as a faux family member on screen, and then as a lifelong friend off it. We revisit the
laughter and behind-the-scenes moments from our days in Salzburg, reflect on how that
little film quietly shaped our lives, and talk about where her journey has taken her since — from motherhood to the creative work that fills her days now.

EPISODE 107 - A JAUNT AROUND SALZBURG

Join me for a special return to Salzburg as we celebrate the 60th anniversary 2025 of              The Sound of Music. In this episode, I share a short,  candid conversation recorded in the limousine as we drove through the countryside from Schloss Leopoldskron to Hellbrunn— chatting   about the finicky Salzburg weather, the real von Trapps, and a few stories that never made it into the film.

It’s a nostalgic glimpse into   our reunion and the memories that still connect us ‘non-Trapps’ after all these years.

EPISODE 104 - BACKSTAGE AT THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL

I'm chatting with Debbie Turner (Marta) & Kym Karath (Gretl) backstage at 'The Sound of Music' Sing-A-Long at the 2025 Hollywood Bowl. It's always a wonderful night under the stars.
And the movie is so amazing to watch on the huge screen in Ultra HD + BlurRay + 4K.

Tune in for a behind the scenes chat with the three of us.

EPISODE 106 - PART 2 - BILL MUMY

In Part 2, Angela continues her conversation with longtime friend and 'Lost in Space' co star Bill Mumy — diving into his life as a prolific musician who plays numerous instruments and has written and recorded hundreds of songs.

What “Pasticcio” Means:

“Pasticcio” is an Italian word that means a mix—a medley, a patchwork of different elements brought together into something unique. In music and art, it can refer to a work made from many parts… sometimes unexpected, sometimes beautifully chaotic.

It’s not about perfection—it’s about the blend. The contrast. The surprise.

A little bit of everything… stitched together into something entirely its own.

So come on along so we can get everything said and done.

Carpe Diem
