A collaboration of fine music.
"Folks, those of you who have read my memoir, “Danger Will Robinson: The Full Mumy” knew this album was coming. I am very happy to announce that it is now here! GuLLy is a very special project and I believe a truly unique collection of songs. Way back in 1968, Paul Gordon and I began a musical partnership that has endured over the decades. We fronted teenage bands together and were a duo named GuLLy before we became two-thirds of Redwood, a trio that has a loyal following even today.
The GuLLy album is unique in the sense that with the singular exception of the opening song, all the songs have their origins in the past, some of them over half a century ago. But we returned to those innocent tunes written by teenagers and guys in their twenties and decided to either finish them or polish and improve them from the perspectives of two artists who have grown in their songwriting and music production skills. Each GuLLy song is now a melding of youth and maturity and I have never enjoyed working on a project more.
I really hope you will explore and discover the GuLLy album. All songs were written by Paul Gordon and myself. All instruments and vocals were performed by us as well.
