Wonder World is a collection of twelve new original Mumy songs presented to the listener with honesty and a cohesive tonality while avoiding studio gimmicks and keeping the arrangements balanced within a frame of “less is more” and “fully produced”.
For Bill Mumy, a solo project is indeed what the word “solo” implies… and Wonder World absolutely fits that description. All of the twelve songs are written and completely performed, recorded and mixed by Mumy alone. He plays all the guitars, bass, keyboards, drums, percussion, mandolin, harmonica and provides all the vocals on the album.
Although WONDER WORLD will eventually be available to be streamed and downloaded everywhere, Global Recording Artists, have put together a very impressive physical release designed by Mumy’s longtime collaborator Angela Cartwright. The CD package includes a booklet with all the lyrics and gear information as well as additional photos and artwork by Ms. Cartwright. The CD also SOUNDS great as it was mastered by Karl Anderson directly from the WAVE 24 bit digital files.
